Art Windows™

A curated platform for presenting artworks in vacant urban storefronts, establishing a direct interface between contemporary practice and the city.

Art Windows repositions vacant storefronts as sites for contemporary exhibition. Works are installed in direct relation to specific architectural conditions, remaining visible from the street and integrated within the commercial fabric of the city.

The project extends the studio’s practice beyond the interior scale of objects and editions into public and semi-public space, where works operate within the visual and spatial conditions of the street.

By situating artworks within active urban environments, Art Windows introduces a distributed exhibition format in which the city itself becomes a continuous site for presentation.

The format is adaptable across residential, hospitality, and commercial contexts, and can be developed in response to specific locations, streets, or architectural environments.

Framework

Each installation is developed in coordination with property owners and presented for a defined duration. Artworks remain externally visible, with further information and acquisition access provided through discreet digital references.

Property Owners

The program enables temporary cultural use of vacant spaces without interrupting leasing visibility, offering an alternative way to engage pedestrians during transitional occupancy.

Artists

Artists are invited to develop works in relation to specific urban sites, extending their practice into a public-facing context.

Position

Art Windows proposes a distributed model of exhibition in which the city itself becomes a continuous site for contemporary work.
